What these actually measure

- Step 2We place your orderOur clinical team places the order with our lab partner, and the lab emails you directly with your kit and instructions — including how to book a draw where one is needed.
- Step 3Give your sampleYou do this part yourself, following the lab's instructions. Self-collection tests you do at home and mail back in the prepaid packaging; draw-required tests you book yourself at a service center or by mobile phlebotomy. Each card says which.
- Step 4Results come to youResults land in your Insider Portal under Lab Results, and we email you when they do. A one-to-one lab review isn't included, but you can add one — just ask.

helpDo I need a doctor to order these?

No. A licensed clinician authorises every order on our side — that is what makes these available without your own physician's requisition.
helpHow does the test actually reach me?

We place the order with the lab partner, usually within one business day. The lab then emails you directly with your kit or your requisition. That email comes from them rather than from us, so watch for their name in your inbox.
helpWhich tests need a blood draw?

Each card says so, and you can filter by it. Draw-required tests are booked by you, at a service center or by mobile phlebotomy, using the requisition the lab sends. Some labs only accept draws on certain weekdays, so check their email before booking. A phlebotomy fee may apply and is not included in the price here.

Into your Insider Portal, under Lab Results, and we email you when they land. Ordering requires an account, so every order has somewhere to arrive.
helpIs a consultation included?

No. These are the test and the report. A one-to-one lab review can be added separately — reply to your order email and we will set it up.
helpDo I need to be an Insider to buy one?

No, but you do need an account. Outsiders can buy any advanced test; Insiders pay less on every one. Both prices are on each card, so you can see the difference before you decide.
helpCan I use HSA or FSA funds?

Usually. These are diagnostic laboratory tests, generally eligible under IRS Publication 502 as laboratory fees. An itemised HSA/FSA receipt is in your portal as soon as you order — you do not have to wait for results. Eligibility still depends on your plan and administrator, so check with them.
helpHow long do results take?

The turnaround on each card is the lab's own estimate, measured from when they receive your sample — not from when you order. Collection and shipping time sit on top of it.
